Silverchair was formed in 1992 in Newcastle, Australia. Actually the original name of the band was the Innocent Criminals. The band comprised such musicians as guitarist/vocalist Daniel Johns, bassist Chris Joannou, and drummer Ben Gillies who were classmates. Their music career began when they won in a music competition having become the best. |
