Kiss Albums
Kiss were founded by an Israeli, Gene Simmons, born Chaim Witz and a New York local, Paul Stanley. Along with veteran New York drummer Criss, the three put together their new style of music - hard rock with the band members wearing makeup and costumes, in the style of the New York Dolls' theatrics. With the addition of eccentric guitar player Paul Frehley, the band chose their name and designed its logo to have the two ‘s' in Kiss appear as lightning bolts. |
