Founded in London in 1998, Coldplay would see the greatest success come their way with their very first single release. Yellow, like the album that followed, Parachutes, became mass hits in the UK and to some degree in the US. By Coldplay's third album, X & Y, the band would really conquer the charts on both sides of the Atlantic, the radio station playlists and young girls' walls with their posters as well.
